Our beginning · 1962
From a humble upholstery shop to a destination for the unexpected.
Clinard and Mary Scarlett founded the business in Darlington, South Carolina, in 1962. What began as an upholstery shop grew through hard work, an eye for quality, and the trust of customers who came back year after year.
Over time, Scarlett’s expanded to include antiques, furniture, handmade rugs, collectibles, and one-of-a-kind finds. The inventory has always changed, but the principles behind it have not: integrity, sincerity, respect, and real value.
Today, Scarlett’s is conveniently located at 1620 S Main Street, along the major highway through Darlington, where the family continues welcoming customers and uncovering the next great find.
